Here at A & A house clearances we have the solution to your problems. Licensed by The Environment Agency we have many years of experience working for local estate agents, solicitors and private landlords. We can give you a quote to rid you of a single item to a large houseful. We clear offices, shops, old factories in fact you name it, and we've probably cleared it!

All clearance work is carried out in a clean un-sign-written van by two or more operatives. All household items are sorted into relevant receptacles before being loaded to be disposed of ethically and properly. For example metal is taken to be recycled as is old clothing and rags. Glass, cardboard and paper are treated in the same way. Any furnishings that are still serviceable are taken to a local charity that we work in conjunction with.

Any furniture or furnishings which still have a monetary value and are considered by ourselves to be re-saleable at our retail outlet will have an allowance made for, which will be deducted from our quotation. In some instances our estimated value of the furnishings will make the clearance free of charge, and occasionally the value of the contents may even mean that we pay you for the clearance! All our quotations are based on skip hire charges. A standard skip costs around £300.00 at the time of publishing this brochure. And as you know not a great deal can be put into these, once one has filled them with a three-piece suite or a couple of beds. That is if a few kind neighbours have not already started the job for you the night before when the skip was delivered. It also depends if there is room for a skip and whether or not one will need a permit and possibly night lights. A costly and most unsatisfactory solution in a lot of cases.
